Chota Tour | Full Day | Geological Wonders
DESCRIPTION
The Full-Day Chota Tour begins at 6:00 a.m. with pickup from hotels in Cajamarca. During the tour, we’ll visit Hualgayoc and Bambamarca, where we’ll explore their traditional main squares and enjoy the Andean landscapes of northern Peru’s highlands. We’ll then head to the Negropampa Caves, a natural attraction renowned for its impressive caverns and rock formations. We’ll also visit the city of Chota, the Vizcamayo Waterfall, and a shop selling traditional Chota hats, where we’ll learn about this artisanal tradition. In addition, we’ll enjoy a traditional lunch featuring dishes such as chicharrón, mote, cancha, and fried guinea pig. Finally, we’ll return to Cajamarca at approximately 9:00 p.m., bringing to a close a day filled with culture, nature, and adventure.
