Itinerary
The Ica Pisco Route Tour begins at approximately 11:00 a.m. at a central location in the city. First, we’ll take a tour of Ica’s Plaza de Armas and visit the Sanctuary of the Lord of Luren, where we’ll learn about some of the city’s history and religious traditions.
Next, we’ll visit the Casa de las Chocotejas Rosalía to learn how traditional Ica chocotejas and tejas are made. Afterward, we’ll continue to a winery, where we’ll learn about pisco and wine production and enjoy a tasting. Later, we’ll have free time to have lunch and sample some typical dishes from Ica’s cuisine.
Next, we’ll visit Cachiche and the Palmera de Siete Cabezas, where we’ll learn about some of Ica’s best-known legends. Finally, we’ll head to the Huacachina Oasis for a tube ride and to go sandboarding on the dunes. We’ll also have time to enjoy the sunset and take photos of the landscape. When the tour ends, we’ll return to downtown Ica, arriving between approximately 8:00 and 8:30 p.m.
