Pick-up and Departure from Lima – Heading to the Lurín Valley

We will begin our adventure very early with pick-up from strategic meeting points in Lima (Miraflores, San Isidro, or the Historic Center). We will leave the city behind and enter the valleys of Lurín and Huarochirí. During the journey, you will see how the urban landscape transforms into green ravines, extensive fruit crops, and picturesque rural villages along a scenic and relaxing route.

Traditional Breakfast in Sisicaya or Nieve Nieve

We will make our first stop at a cozy countryside restaurant surrounded by mountains. Here you will enjoy an authentic Andean breakfast, which may include freshly baked mountain bread, local cheese, herbal tea, or coffee prepared in the traditional rural style. It is the perfect time to recharge your energy and enjoy the fresh air of the Lima highlands.

Panoramic View from Amancaes Viewpoint

We will make a strategic stop at Amancaes Viewpoint. From this natural viewpoint, you can enjoy an excellent view of the extensive Lurín River Valley. You will be able to capture spectacular photographs of the area’s geographical contrasts and the clear sky that often characterizes this route toward the Andes.

Antioquía

We will arrive at the charming town of Antioquía, internationally recognized as an authentic “open-air museum” thanks to its famous façades decorated with vibrant paintings of flowers, angels, and hummingbirds. We will begin a walking tour through its colorful streets while the guide explains the traditions and history behind this artistic project. During the walk, we will explore the Main Square, which serves as the colorful heart of the town, and visit the Espíritu Santo Church, a colonial gem known for its simple architecture and deep spirituality. We will also stop at the Antioquía Museum to learn more about rural life and local art, ending at the Community Shops, authentic spaces where local artisans offer unique products such as pure honey, artisanal jams, and local handicrafts.
