The adventure begins at the Main Square of Puerto Maldonado, the official meeting point. After a welcome briefing from your guide, we head to the river port to begin our expedition to one of Tambopata’s most remote areas.

Navigation on the Madre de Dios River
We begin our river journey along one of the main tributaries of the Amazon Basin. During the trip, you may spot herons, cormorants, river swallows, and, with some luck, capuchin monkeys leaping through the trees.

Breakfast on Board
Enjoy a boxed breakfast served during the journey, accompanied by the sounds of the rainforest awakening. Natural juices, homemade bread, tropical fruits, and Amazonian coffee will provide the energy needed for the day ahead.

Navigation Along the Piedras and Pariamanu Rivers
